"Well, well, well ... another Republithug flaming PERVERT, right in our own front yard, strutting around the country claiming to be a heterosexual man!
EVERYONE should be screaming loud and clear for his resignation. What a disgrace!!!!!
Point being that the repubs are SUPPOSEDLY the "family values" party. Well, I guess if the family values include workin' some guys privates in a public bathroom while the wife and kids wait at home.....
There is NO DIFFERENCE between the parties people. The dems and repubs are EXACTLY the same. Morally, ethically and in their actions."

Well, linxx reposted my thoughts (post #67 on this thread) on the matter from another thread (my bolded text was quoting another member who said he was a pervert FWIW):
While I didn't call him a pervert, and don't know what actually happened, he DID plead guilty. I don't care how much stress he was under. He, as a LEADER OF OUR COUNTRY, should be mentally adept enough to handle stress associated with politics. If he "succumbed to stress" and made such a bad judgment call, it's the same IMO as the cop who was so STUPID as to leave his K-9 to die in his patrol car in the heat. These people need to be able to handle stress better than they evidently can, in order to perform properly in their jobs.
I for one think he WAS soliciting for sex; it just didn't get to the point where he was on his knees punking for someone. Again, I stand by my statement quoted in post #67 here:

Is he a good senator? Probably. But he's also "guilty" of attempting to solicit homosexual sex in a public restroom. And THAT activity is not compatible with being a member of "the 'family values party.'" So at the very least, he's a complete hypocrite....

Imagine that, a hypocrite. Dennis, I once had a fellow I was asked to visit in the hospital to help prepare him for his imminent death tell me, "Father, I just couldn't go to church. TOO MANY HYPOCRITES." To which I replied, "No, there aren't too many. There is room for you."
