We let that stand initially, but over time, it kind-of bothered me, so I broached the subject about "righting a wrong" and reinstating her.
There is ample precedent on TB for doing that. So after much discussion, it was decided to let her come back, since it was our fault she'd been "wrongly" (however you want to define that) banned in the first place. I know the hate sites will have a field day, but they can jointly and collectively kiss my hairy brown butt....

Actually that's not a problem at all.
When a member of a forum is banned, their account remains intact, and the software looks for key data within that account to deny access. Like username, IP, email address, etc.
If a member's account is deleted, the join date and total posts is lost, but the deleted member can still access the forum by rejoining and/or reregistering.
You can't keep 'em out if you delete them, and you can't delete them if you ban them
Of course, none of the dumbasses at TB2Gay ever heard of proxy servers like HideMyAss-dot-com either....

What BS.......The infraction system just adds a check to the banned usergroup! You can click "reverse infraction" or just uncheck the box!
How do they manually set up accounts, and not know how to set a usergroup?

Folks, I regret to announce that Fruit Loop has been removed from membership at TB. Although I was not part of that discussion, it was one too many thread hijack/attack posts that pushed the staff over the edge. I have been telling her for some time to ease up, but I guess that fell on deaf ears. Although she could be a real PITA from time to time, I'll miss her on the board.
