I voted 'maybe' for two reasons...mods and ownership would need to change too imho.

First, there seems to be corruption deeper than just DO.  The 'Banhammer 2000' proves that all the mods are rule breakers and need to go IMHO.  Second, if DO still 'owns' the board then he would still be profiting from it and so I personally will not support it even with my mere posts because I don't want any shred of responsibility for his drawing in folks and giving them a song and dance for money then doing God knows what with those funds.

a big NO for several reasons

1. that board has a terrible reputation it needs to just go totally

2. you really can not tell who is running these boards this is a very illusive medium

3. he could just "SAY" he is stepping down and really continue behind the scenes

4. It is a useless & worthless "junk" board

This stepping down idea is an easy way for DO to get himself off the hook and out of the glarring headlights (since he was S T U P I D and V A I N enough to start the board in his "real" name to begin with...) weirdface.gif

With that said, how could anyone trust a board that uses spyware to track their membership, will not give a honest accounting of income/expenses, pimps for some TEOTWAWKI salesman, bans people simply because they dislike them or they don't agree with the popular consensus, Fatboy lies when the truth would do him better, and last but not least outs members real life names and contact information....................

Would have to be a hell no. I'm not banned and could login at any time, but the koolaid just runs too thick.  The people that say they feel "family" there, must have the most RL dysfunctional families imaginable. 

Lockstep is the flavor of the day.  Not my cup of tea.

The only way for the board to save itself is to shut it down.  Members that aren't koolaid drinkers could open a new board on another SERVER and build a new community.

Although CE has attempted it, and has their own following, yet asswipes like Null aren't my cup of koolaid either.

Cyberpower mongering is a new disease.

TB2Gay is just a waste. There is nothing there that can't be found elsewhere. It's utterly stale. Nearly all the posters are on the stupid side, some very much so.

Unfortunately, there is just too much shiesse filling up that house. It's as if DO and all the mods just crapped *whereever* and you can't walk or sit down anywhere.

The shiesse I speak of is DO's pompous crappy attitude as well as the mods overstuffed opinions of themselves.

How in the world to they get the time to be a mod like that? Everyone I know is busy doing things like going to work, or going to school, making a living, producing something. DO and his mods do nothing recognizable except sit on their fat duffs typing inane messages to a board (okay 2 boards) that hardly anyone reads anymore.

So, I'd vote, hell no. Your houses are too full of ****.

**** - Jon's been in cahoots with Olson from the git-go.  You don't really think anyone charges (or receives) such exorbitant fees for simple web hosting, do you?  It may appear to be Olson-free - but I'd not be betting on it.  After all, he's been paying Jon a hell of a lot of $$$ in recent years.    I don't see anything at TOL other than a bunch of pseudo neocon right wing wannabees, who probably all sit around and bitch and moan that another day has come and gone without their god staging an apocalypse.

Well, all that would be needed is a search from time to time of court filings from Oregon and Wisconsin, in the area where civil suits are listed, in the domestic section where dissolutions are listed, and see if Diane files for divorce. She could be filing soon, or she could just be separated, intending to file later after she sees if she can find it in her heart to forgive the jerk.

Sometimes people just stay separated and don't get divorced. If she did that, it might be hard to find out if she actually left DO.

I can't imagine her doing that. I'd think she'd want to get DO out of her life just like scraping some dog sheisse off the bottom of her shoe.

I can't help it, I have to laugh.....not 10 minutes after posting the hunt for D'anne post and Dennis is at TB, and D'Anne. SHe has not showed up as being online in 2 weeks.

I think that in Wisconsin, if the divorce is contested, then you have to file for legal separation and maintain a separate household for 12 months before you can then file for divorce:  http://divorcesupport.about.com/od/usstatedivorcelaws/a/wisconsin_law.htm

Thanks Chubbalishus...just a photoshop off a still I snagged from google; no acid was used kiddies in the manufacturing of that avatar.  I'm just hoping no one sues Kat for it inducing seizures. wink.gif
